Bjäre Peninsula baths & beaches

Sailstorps beach

Pack the picnic basket and take you to Segelstorp's long fine shallow sandy beach. Perfect for small children! Here you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Kulla Peninsula and relax on one of the Bjäre Peninsula's most beautiful beaches.

Båstad's Kallbadhus

Refreshing and healthy, many say! A cold bath is a must during your visit to Båstad. Book now Hotel Skansen

Skansen bathed

Sandy beach with jetty, kiosk, parking space. Located in central Båstad close to the harbor and other activities. Shallow sandy beach good for small children.

Morgonbryggan in Torekov

You can not swim from a "finer" bridge in Sweden. Put on your nicest bathrobe (preferably with patina) and take a morning dip before you buy the breakfast rolls at Parkis.

Court Halls

Hovs Hallar nature reserve is the steepest coastal area on the Bjäre Peninsula and has been described as fabulous, almost extraterrestrial. Here are lovely rocky beaches and perfect snorkeling and diving water.

Ängelbäck beach

Ängelsbäcksstrand borders Segelstorpsstrand and offers the same magical view of Skälderviken. The sandy beach is shallow, which is perfect for families with children, there is also a nice jetty here.

Glimminge Planting

Take a trip to Glimminge Planting, here the sun goes down into the sea and you can follow the sun all the way down if you stay for a while. If you take a day trip, Glimminge offers a fine sandy beach with beautiful views of the Kulla Peninsula.

The paint bath

Here are the many options to choose from. Choose the long beach that stretches from Båstad to Mellbystrand or go over to Malenbadet's nice pools. There is also a restaurant where you can have a good dinner.

Skummeslövs bridge

Now Sweden's longest beach has its own jetty of dignity. The pier extends a full 120 meters out into Laholmsbukten and provides a magnificent view of the beautiful Bjäre Peninsula in the south. Great for swimming both in summer and winter.

Norrebro Brygga & Ingelstorp Strand

Beautiful Ingelstorp with Norrebro Harbor! Here are beach meadows grazed by cattle that you sunbathe on, so bring a deck chair or sun lounger to lie on. You bathe from the bridge. A good place for those who want to fish for crabs.

Sandhamn HallandsVäderö

Do as a local resident and take the boat over to Hallands Väderö. Here you can combine sun and swimming on fine sand and grass beaches with hiking and crab fishing. Bring your coffee basket or buy coffee and ice cream in the small kiosk in Sandhamn.

Dog bath

There are three places in Båstad municipality where dogs can swim. Here you can see what these are and what rules apply.

Paulins pier

An appreciated bridge that is in good condition thanks to a recent renovation. Fantastic views towards Halmstad and Laholmsbukten. Perfect for both an evening dip and a beneficial cold bath
