Båstad Municipality has around 3,000 public parking spaces, of which 2,600 in Båstad and 400 in Torekov's built-up area. During larger events in central Båstad, visitors are directed primarily to the Prästliden car park, along Köpmansgatan directly across from Maria Church in central Båstad. From here it's walking distance to the centre, the harbour, the tennis arena, the square and the church.
Parking disc
Some time-limited parking spaces are regulated with a parking disc, for example ICA Lyckans torg, Mariatorget, the church car park, behind the Tennis Museum, at Båstad railway station and the Ängelholmsvägen car park. Check the signage to see what applies exactly where you're parking. The parking disc can be picked up free of charge at, for example, the Tourist Office or the Municipal Hall. You can also use parking discs from other regions and cities.
