Adventures for the Family

On the Bjäre peninsula it's easy to fill the days with things children remember for a long time. Sometimes a really good playground goes a long way. Around the Bjäre peninsula there are several places where children can run free, climb, swing and play while the adults get a moment to land. Linhaga play park in Förslöv is one of the larger playgrounds, there's a newer play park by Malenbadet, and along the seaside promenade in Båstad lies Gulstad, close to both the sea and the walking path. For children and adults who want more adventure, Kungsbygget Adventure Park is a natural stop. There's a summer toboggan, zipline, high-ropes course and climbing tower — activities that suit families who want to do something active together. If you want to continue on the theme of action and nature, there's Vallåsen Bikepark for downhill riding and Vallåsen Disc Golf for a more playful challenge in a forest setting.

Anyone who wants to experience Bjäre from the saddle can also book a guided mountain-bike tour with Ridge Cycling, while Båstad Skatepark is perfect for children and young people who want to skateboard, ride a kick scooter or just hang out at an active meeting place.

With the sea close by, water adventures are a natural part of the family holiday. At Malen in Båstad you can rent a SUP and kayak via Kayakomat, and Båstad Kite offers SUP for those who want to get out on the water in an easy, active way. For those who'd rather swim, both Malenbadet and Skummeslövsbadet are family-friendly options.

A trip with Väderötrafiken to Hallands Väderö easily becomes a full day with a boat ride, swimming, nature and the joy of discovery. For an extra memorable experience there's also a seal safari with Väderötrafiken from Torekov.

For many children, meeting animals is one of the very best things. At Tyga Gård there's both family adventure and the chance to experience a farm setting, while Children's Lögnäs invites you to a playful farm experience where children get close to the animals.

If you want to mix nature and history, Bjäre Härad heritage park is a lovely destination. Here you'll find settings that spark curiosity and make room for play, learning and a calmer moment together.

Not every family day needs to be a big adventure. Sometimes the most fun is challenging each other to something simple. At First Camp in Torekov you can rent a pedal car or play adventure golf on a 12-hole course. Adventure golf is also available at Båstad Camping in a park setting.

For families who like disc golf and padel, Äppelgården Disc Golf & Padel is a good stop, with courses shaped by the natural terrain. Gårdskampen offers yet another way to compete, laugh and do something together — perfect for families who want activity without it getting too advanced.
