Selfie Spots on the Bjäre Peninsula

The Bjäre peninsula is full of places that look especially good in photos — from dramatic cliffs and blooming gardens to little harbours, viewpoints and classic summer moments. Here are some of our best tips for capturing Bjäre on camera.

Dramatic cliffs, sea, sea-stack-like formations and mighty views. Hovs Hallar is one of the Bjäre peninsula's most iconic spots — perfect for a photo with raw nature, horizon and wind in your hair.

A place where every season offers new colours, shapes and beautiful settings. Here you'll find everything from flowering paths and reflecting pools to an orangery, architecture and well-composed garden rooms.

One of Båstad's best-known views. Here beach life, bathing culture and horizon meet — as lovely for a summer photo as for a crisp winter selfie after a cold dip.

At the Rooftop Spa at Hotel Skansen in Båstad you can get a gorgeous shot. You settle into the infinity pool. You're wearing your coolest swimwear and, ideally, holding a glass of bubbly. In the background: the sea and a blue sky. You look like you're living the high life, and the viewer imagines you might be abroad. The shot works all year round, though in winter you'll need the right angle to keep the bare treetops out of frame. The price of the photo is spa admission.
