Rain clouds roll in over the Bjäre peninsula too sometimes. Perhaps that's exactly why the landscape is so green, the ingredients so full of flavour and the feeling so special here all year round. When the wind picks up, autumn creeps in, or the evening simply calls for something warm and cosy, few things beat a really good dinner or a glass of wine indoors. Preferably among candlelight, muted colours and places where time is allowed to slow down a little. Here we've gathered a few of our favourites for raw days and lovely evenings together.

A meeting place where you enjoy your favourite wines and also discover wine from unexpected corners. A love of genuine craftsmanship runs through the interior, the food and the drink, and they also champion local wine production through close collaboration with the surrounding vineyards.

The bar at Hotel Skansen. Dark and subdued, with details like velvet-upholstered furniture and even an open fire to enjoy. It feels flirty and chic.

Gives an airy impression and is filled with winter light from the large windows. Even so, it's cosy with wall-to-wall carpeting and upholstered furniture.

The restaurant at Båstad golf club in Boarp has mullioned windows and a muted colour scheme. There's a cosy feel indoors and, as a bonus for rainy summer days, plenty of covered outdoor seating too.

Ham on Rye by Båstad station is snug and lovely, and you can grab a bite or a fika while watching the kitchen and bakery at work. Well suited to small groups.

Vintage Tapas in Båstad has many small rooms that form a labyrinth of seating and private little corners. Vintage Tapas is housed on the ground floor of Musikhuset in central Båstad.
