Stories of

Båstad & Bjäre Peninsula

Cozy indoors - a very small pub guide

It also rains on the Bjäre Peninsula sometimes. It has to do with the fact that the fertile soil produces large yields of fresh potatoes. And that the landscape is green and inviting. When it's rough outside, or when autumn creeps in, yes, then you want it cozy indoors for your dinner or drink. Preferably with a dull color scheme, upholstered chairs and lights on the tables. We have scraped together a few tips here in Mysigt indoors - a very small pub guide.

Nice coloring

The deer in Båstad. is a long-established guest house that has a lovely color scheme and a high coziness factor. Here, the feeling is elegant – think marble and polished details – but still down-to-earth.

Flirty feeling

Mr G in Båstad is the bar at Hotel Skansen. It's dark and subdued, with details such as velvet upholstered furniture and even a log fire to enjoy. Feels a bit flirty and fancy.

French and personal

Bistro Grodlår & Thyme in Båstad is located by the square and is a personal small restaurant with a French touch and pleasant atmosphere. Old movie posters adorn the walls and you sit close to your table neighbors.

Cozy bright

The bistro at Torekov Hotel in Torekov offers an airy impression and is filled with winter light from the large windows. Still, it's cozy with carpet and upholstered furniture.

Soft coziness

Food & Meetings at Båstad golf club in Boarp has slatted windows and muted color scheme. Here there is a cozy factor indoors and, as a bonus for rainy summer days, there is also plenty of space outdoors under cover.

Invitingly spacious

The brothers in Båstad is in Gamlegården's new building. This pub is part of a chain and known for its good burgers. The indoor environment is inviting and pleasant.

Changeable fresh

Malens Krog in Båstad is tasteful and in some strange way always newly renovated. At Malen's pub, you can count on good humour, good food and a personal approach even in the worst weather.

Crowded and lovely

Ham on Rye at Båstad station is crowded and lovely, and you can have a bite to eat or a coffee and at the same time view the kitchen and bakery. Suitable for small parties.

Own corner

Vintage Tapas in Båstad has many smaller rooms that become a labyrinth of seating and private little corners. Vintage Tapas is housed on the ground floor of Musikhuset in central Båstad.
