The Leader project "Active Lifestyle Båstad Bjäre" from Båstad Turism och Näringsliv is currently being implemented. The purpose is to develop the Bjäre Peninsula into an attractive destination for both the active local resident and the visitor.
During the autumn, Båstad Turism och Näringsliv received the positive news that the project "Active Lifestyle Båstad-Bjäre" was granted a grant from Leader northwestern Skåne. This means that there are now even more opportunities and resources to develop the Båstad & Bjäre Peninsula into an attractive destination for the active visitor.
- This is a development project that is really close to my heart, says Karin Bengtsson, CEO of Båstad Turism & Näringsliv. At present, we are a year-round destination, but through the theme Active Lifestyle, we can strengthen ourselves even more in all months of the year and on the entire Bjäre Peninsula. The fact that Båstad & Bjärehalvön is strengthened in an active lifestyle is positive for the local brand for both tourism and immigration and the activities to the delight of both visitors and municipal residents.
Leader northwestern Skåne with the Sound works with locally led development through the leader method with support from the European Structural and Investment Funds and grants project funds to associations, companies and public organizations.
