Ripagården

It is at Ripagården that the participants lived during the recording in 2020. The well-preserved property is located in a quiet location, 300 meters from the sea in beautiful surroundings. The building was built in 1929 and has ten rooms, of which six are bedrooms. Outdoors you will find open spaces, a heated pool and a separate studio.

Grevie backs

The grazed pebble ridges lie like a grid on the south slope of Hallandsåsen. They were created during the melting stage of the ice sheet 14 years ago. Pebble ridges consist of gravel that is left by ice rivers when the ice sheet releases its grip. Sometimes icebergs remained in the gravel of the ice rivers and when they finally melted, pits formed, so-called dead holes. These pits were gradually filled with stone and gravel. In the past, stone was often fetched from here for house construction. It is said that Grevie Church was built of stone from Grevie Hills.

Hemmeslövsstrand

Hemmeslövsstrand

Part of Sweden's longest sandy beach that stretches from the county border in the south to the Lagan estuary in the north. It is a wonderful bathing paradise with shallow, bathing-friendly sandy beaches and protective dunes. Especially in the northern parts, the dunes rise a good distance above the sea.

Skottorp Castle

Welcome to Skottorps Slott in southern Halland, Sweden's best preserved empire castle. The first time people talk about Skottorp is in 1436, but then the farm was not in its current location, but a couple of kilometers away.

Skottorps Slott was originally built by Frans Joel Örnestedt in the 1670s according to drawings by Nicodemus Tessin d.ä. On May 6, 1680, Charles XI married Ulrika Eleonora at Skottorp.

The castle has many fine paintings and works of art…

Torekovs beach

Torekovs beach

Torekov's beach is an approximately 600 m long sandy beach on the west coast of the Bjäre Peninsula. The beach is centrally located in Torekov between the harbor and Andre brook.

The bath is shallow and has a sandy bottom. Above the 20-30 m wide sand strip are grassy sand dikes. There are two bathing jetties on the beach

Hallands Väderö

Hallands Väderö

Hallands Väderö is a special place where visitors go to enjoy the sun and swimming but also its unique nature. The island, which is also one of Skåne's largest nature reserves, offers great adventures among meadows, primeval forests, smooth cobs, here there are also seals and a very rich plant life. In the film adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's Ronja Rövardotter, the weather island's forest and fields are depicted by white anemones. To the island you take the boat with Captain Nils on Väderötrafiken which takes you to port. A given excursion destination when you visit the Bjäre Peninsula.

Daily highs

Imaginative Daylight. Here, Skåne's largest burial mound, Dagshög, has been brooding on its secrets probably since the Bronze Age. On the beach at Skälderviken, according to legend, King Dag and his men fought their last battle against an overpowering army, led by a power-hungry Swede king. After the battle, King Dag and his men were raised in this place - hence the name Dagshög.
